This hotel, located in wonderful Italy, boasts the presence of one of history’s most infamous rulers. Emperor Nero, famous for his crazy escapades – in particular, for playing the fiddle as Rome burned around him – is said to stalk the way between his tomb and the nearby Castello Della Castellucia in search of a peaceful night’s sleep.
Travelers have also reported seeing the apparitions of horses sold by one of the castle’s noblemen to pay off his gambling debts.
