5. The Von Braun Astronomical Society

Initially founded in 1954 as the Rocket City Astronomical Association by a group of high school students interested in Astronomy, the Von Braun Society kept expanding over the decades to become one of the top facilities with an observatory, solar telescope, and planetarium.
